In the high-speed and heavy-duty power transmission, some couplings also have the functions of buffering, damping and improving the dynamic performance of shafting. The coupling is composed of two parts, which are respectively connected with the driving shaft and the driven shaft. The common power machine is mostly connected with the working machine by means of the coupling. Centrifugal pump is a kind of medium protection equipment that the active medium (gas and liquid, also can be the mixture of suspended particles and gas or liquid) enters from the root (inlet) of blade shaft. The medium relies on the high-speed rotating blade to obtain centripetal force, which produces a high pressure and flows out from the pressure relief port (outlet). The multi-stage centrifugal pump is the combination of two or more pumps with the same function. In the structure of fluid channel, it can be seen that the medium pressure relief port of the first stage is connected with the inlet of the second stage, and the medium pressure relief port of the second stage is connected with the inlet of the third stage. Such a mechanism in series constitutes the multi-stage centrifugal pump. The significance of multistage centrifugal pump is to improve the set pressure. In the normal operation of multi-stage pump, if the pump body is defective, it is easy to damage the coupling. The reasons for coupling damage are explained one by one below. 1. The clearance between impeller and seal ring increases after wear. 2. The pump shaft is not concentric with the motor shaft. 3. The pump shaft is bent. 4. The quality of elastic rubber ring is poor and it is seriously worn. 5. Bearing wear causes pump vibration. 6. The pump rotor is loose, resulting in the change of coupling end clearance. Stainless steel single-stage centrifugal pump coupling easy to damage treatment methods: 1. Change the quality of good elastic rubber ring. 2. Measure and adjust the concentricity of stainless steel single-stage centrifugal pump unit to make it reach the standard. 3. Check the bending of the pump shaft, stop straightening or changing the pump shaft. 4. Check and adjust the fit clearance between the impeller stop and the sealing ring of the pump. 5. Tighten the lock nut and adjust the working displacement of the pump. 6. Check, adjust or replace the bearing.
